Hello World Welcome to My First Blog Post

It is playoff season for High School basketball here in Maine! Orono men’s basketball had their first playoff game this past week against Harmon. The two teams did not disappoint. With the second-highest-scoring game the two have had against each other this year. Their first time meeting this year, Hermon sneaked out in a low-scoring game with a victory of 44-25. The second time they faced off was in January when Orono tied up the score with a victory of 56-49. This first round has been building up all year with great regular-season games. Two close games in the regular season typically means the playoff games are going to be exciting. Orono scored the third-highest amount of points they have all season, pulling out the win over Hermon Maine 60-43. Orono faced off against their border rivals, Old Town, on Wednesday the 19th, which we will cover in our next blog post.
